• True straight paths — an exactly linear route between waypoints, computed with the minimum number of waypoints instead of dozens of padded intermediate points.
• Oblique (extend) paths — angled passes run past the boundary so every edge of the target still lands inside a frame, or stay strictly inside a fixed boundary.
• Grid path calculation — a full crosshatch of two evenly spaced, perpendicular path sets for high overlap and mapping precision.
